πŸ₯” 5 Ways to Use Potatoes!

Published over 1 year agoΒ β€’Β 1 min read

Hi Reader!

Does your family dig potatoes?

We just had roasted potatoes with our dinner the other night, alongside a new grilled chicken recipe I'm trying out (recipe coming soon!). And I realized potatoes are kind of our fall-back starch.

They're cheap, they're easy to cook, and they'll take on pretty much whatever flavor you want to give them.

Even sweet potatoes can be both sweet and savory!

If you're on the potato bandwagon like we are, here are 5 recipes for you to try, which showcase 5 different ways to use potatoes.

Check them out and see which one you want to make this weekend!

One Pot Potato Soup (GF, DF, Whole30) - This potato soup is rich without being heavy. Made with onion, garlic, and thyme, it’s got a subtle but delicious flavor. The coconut milk makes it nice and creamy – a perfect comfort food. Stovetop and Instant Pot directions included!

Thai Loaded Sweet Potato (GF, DF, Paleo, Whole30) - This loaded sweet potato recipe is a quick meal when you’re running low on options. It has five main ingredients, one of which is rotisserie chicken to make things super easy.

Grilled Potatoes (GF, DF, Whole30) - these grilled potatoes are crispy outside but soft inside. Perfect when you want to try something a little different with your spuds.

Leftover Breakfast Hash (GF, DF, Paleo, Whole30) - You can roast up potatoes, but what do you do with the leftovers? Put them in a breakfast hash! Follow this recipe template to make an easy breakfast out of last night's dinner.

Sweet Potato Sliders (GF, DF, Paleo, Whole30) - These sliders are the perfect healthy food for a crowd. Made with sweet potato buns and a beef patty covered in guacamole and ranch dressing, they’re super tasty and a great game day recipe - hello playoffs!

If you make and enjoy any of these recipes, please be sure and leave your comments with a positive review on the website!

I love hearing about the recipes you make and it helps other people find my recipes when you leave a review.

Happy cooking!

Hi Reader, Let's talk leftovers for a second. Leftover protein is one of my favorite things because you can easily turn it into another meal. For leftover grilled chicken, I typically throw it in a bowl with whatever I have on hand and serve it up for dinner. If you need ideas for how the heck to do that, check out one of these recipes: Grilled Chicken Burrito Bowl OR Grilled Chicken Taco Salad Both are super easy to make, especially if you're using things like canned beans or microwavable...

Hi Reader, If you don't know, I've been a grilling machine for several years. But I didn't start out that way. When I began I was unsure of how the heck to grill without completely ruining my meat. It seemed like I just couldn't get it right - things were either pink in the middle (when they weren't supposed to be) or way overdone. Until I changed how I was thinking. I was used to cooking recipes for a certain amount of TIME. I had to start cooking recipes to a certain TEMPERATURE. Once I did...
